TESTIMONIALS

How has the firm supported your professional growth?

“I have learned a great deal about the construction and project management side of the profession, as someone who came from a design firm and knew the basic rules of thumb for laying out units & buildings and preparing presentations. The difference in knowledge from who came in for an interview in 2020 to who I am today is night & day. With what I have learned over the past 5.5 years, taking a doodle on a napkin to a fully designed building doesn’t seem like such a harrowing endeavor.”

What makes ADG a great place to build a career?

“What makes ADG a great place to build a career is the work and the people. You get to work on a diverse range of projects, the kind of work that shapes how New Jersey communities grow. You take on real responsibility early and learn alongside experienced professionals. We want this to be a place where you can grow and develop a long-term career, not just hold a job.”

How would you describe collaboration amoung team members?

One of the things I value most about our team is how naturally collaboration happens. Being in the office makes it easy to connect, exchange ideas, and work through challenges in real time. Each person is approachable and willing to jump in when needed, which makes working together, in an open office environment, both productive and enjoyable. We each grow professionally because of the positive culture, allowing us to see and offer different perspectives, regardless of our roles. Collaboration allows us to achieve the best possible outcomes for our projects and support each other both in and out of the office.”

How would you describe the work environment?

“Our office has a collaborative atmosphere where experienced team members mentor younger staff, while everyone is encouraged to bring new ideas to the table. We work on a variety of multifamily and single-family residential projects, which creates plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. The workload can be busy at times, but the team is supportive and works together to find solutions.”

– Catherine Fryckowska, Senior Project Manager, 2 years

What do you enjoy most about working here?

“What I enjoy most about working here is the collaborative and supportive culture. The open-office environment encourages teamwork and communication, while regularly eating lunches together and company outings help build strong relationships beyond project work. As a younger staff member, I have greatly benefited from the firm's strong sense of mentorship and the willingness of senior team members to share their knowledge and experience. I also appreciate that new design ideas are welcomed and valued, creating an atmosphere that fosters both creativity and professional growth.”

– Keylee Kohlmeier, Project Architect, 2 years.
